The cellar, the jewel of the farmhouse.

The cellar is the jewel of the farmhouse. With the help of great professionals from the region, we have rehabilitated the space as a whole, maintaining its essence and recovering very special pieces like the vat, a basic tool in winemaking. Made of stone lined with its characteristic reddish glazed bricks and with a capacity of 4,000 liters, this is where the must was stored to ferment after the grapes had been crushed.

The vat took advantage of the farmhouse's elevation for easy access from the upper floor, where the harvest was brought in. At the bottom, we find the opening (broca or boixa) through which the wine was transferred to the barrels in the cellar.

Later, in the cellar, we will explain the history of the farmhouse and our winemaking process, concluding with a tasting of our wines where you can appreciate the influence of the different aging in wood and time, as well as the subsequent aging in bottle.
